Namirial Sign - how to verify a document?

Namirial Sign allows you to verify the validity of a signed and/or time-stamped file.
To start the verification, click on Verify in the menu on the left or on Home.

Drag the document to be signed into the appropriate box or upload it using the select button.
Click on Proceed to continue.

On the verification screen you can see: on the left the signatures and time stamps affixed to the document, on the right the summary of the verification result.
You can view the details of a certificate or time stamp by clicking on it and scrolling down to read all the information.

Once the report is displayed, you have a number of functionalities at your disposal:

  • Save PDF report;
  • View signed file;
  • Verification to date (to check whether the signature affixed to the document was or will be valid at
    a specific date, past or future)
  • Save source file (this function is only available if the format of the time stamp is ‘.tsd’. In the case of PAdES signature verification this option is not available);
  • Print PDF report.
