Note: Namirial Sign allows the affixing of a time stamp at the same time as the signing operation, in this guide we will show you how to do the time stamp independently.

To affix a time stamp to a document, signed or unsigned, click on Time Stamp in the left-hand menu of the application.

Drag the document to be signed into the appropriate box or upload it using the select button.
Click on Proceed to continue.

Select the format in which to save the time stamp from the drop-down list:

TSR and TST
are the simplest formats and actually contain only the file imprint, NOT the whole file, and the computer evidence of the time stamp.  Unlike TSD, in order to verify a file with these formats, it is essential to also have the original file that has been time-stamped, otherwise it will only be possible to check that the time stamp has been correctly made but not to verify whether the TSR/TST file corresponds to the original file. The size of a TSR/TST file is definitely smaller than the original file.

TSD
This is the latest format introduced, in order of time, to contain both the evidence of the time stamp (the TSR-formatted file) and the file itself undergoing marking.
Unlike the M7M format, the TSD format has a composition syntax that respects standards widely recognised by the IT community.

M7M
It is the first format historically introduced to contain both the time stamp evidence (the TSR-formatted file) and the marked file itself.
Today, not all software recognises and is able to verify the M7M format.
ATTENTION: The M7M format does not comply with CNIPA Resolution No. 45/2009 (Art. 17, paragraph 4).

Click on Apply timestamp, to proceed with the document marking.

The message TIME STAMP APPLIED CORRECTLY will confirm the conclusion of the time stamp process.
