The sender of an envelope can ask the various recipients to perform the following actions:
- MUST SIGN: The signer must sign the envelope, in the manner configured by the sender during the sending phase. Should any mandatory signatures be requested by the sender, the envelope’s flow will be paused if not affixed by the signer in question.
- CC: the recipient will receive the envelope as a carbon copy only, in a specific flow progress step configured by the sender. A CC’d recipient will never halt an envelope’s progress.
- MUST VIEW: the recipient will receive the envelope to be viewed, in a specific progress step of the flow configured by the sender. Should an acknowledgement request be sent, this is a step that can cause the envelope’s progress to be halted, in the event that the recipient does not view the same.
